Card Run (funny running or relay race with randomness)

Form of organisation: Teams

Materials: a complete deck of cards

Description of the game:
Preparation: All cards of the game are laid out up-side down on one side of the hall. Students are divided into 4 groups at the other end of the hall and, by lot, received one of the 4 aces (diamonds, hearts, clubs or spades).
On command, the game begins. The respective first of each group runs on the opposite side of the hall and turns any card over. If such card is of his colour, the student may take the card back. If such card is not of his colour, the student turns it over again. He sprints back to his group, taps with a handshake so that the next runner is allowed to start. This is repeated by each group until all cards of one colour are collected (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace). The team, which first collected all cards of their colour, wins.
Variations:
The collecting must be performed in the right order (in a straight).
Cards are laid out on a wider area, or even in the equipment room.
Note: The game is played across the hall, so that it is possible to play with four teams in a hall half simultaneously. Also tournaments are possible.
