Rescue Ball

Form of organisation: entire group

Materials: bands

Description of the game:

Two players are marked with team bands or peaked caps. The object of the catcher is to touch off an other player to swap roles.
However, this game only becomes interesting by the use of balls.
A player in possession of a ball cannot be caught. The player tries to prevent being caught as long as possible by skilful passing.

By removing or adding balls, life can be made easier or harder for the catchers.

If one want to play without balls, there is a further rescue option. The hunted child can rescue himself by hugging another player. However, such hug must be released quickly.
The pitch must be clearly defined. Notes for students: start easy, then increase the intensity!
